Our first concert was held in St Leonard's Church, Shoreditch, on 10 October 2015. The programme was Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1 (soloist: Thomas Gregory) and Mahler's Symphony No. 9.
This concert raised money for The Cure Parkinson's Trust.
Our second concert, on 29 October 2016
Our second concert was held on 29 October 2016 at St Leonard's Church, Shoreditch. The programme was: Dvorak: Othello Overture Mahler: Kindertotenlieder (soloist: Vivien Easom) Tchaikovsky: Manfred Symphony This concert raised money for Anti-Slavery International Anti-Slavery International works at local, national and international levels to eliminate all forms of slavery around the world. It works closely with partner organisations from around the world, aiming to influence decision-makers and inspire change on a global level, particularly on bonded labour (also known as debt bondage), descent based slavery, forced labour, forced marriage, the worst forms of child labour, the exploitation of migrant workers in conditions amounting to slavery (particularly migrant domestic workers), and human trafficking.
